Hope Tour 2024: Bread of Hope feeds over 3000 children in 10 States

 Bread of Hope Children and Youths Foundation, an NGO, concluded its 10-day Hope Tour in Nigeria, feeding over 3000 children in 10 states.

The foundation, as part of its annual event, embarks on a yearly tour to any country to reach out to kids in the underserved communities, and so far 11 countries have been visited, which include Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia, Liberia, Benin Republic, Senegal, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Togo, Kenya, and Cote d’Ivoire.

Vivian Elebiyo-Okojie, the founder of the foundation, said the initiative is part of the foundation’s global outreach programme, designed to reach underserved communities.

 “Our Hope Tour is more than just providing food; it’s about offering hope and a brighter future to children in need.

“We believe that every child deserves access to basic necessities like food, education, and healthcare.

“The joy and gratitude on the faces of the children we serve is our greatest reward. It’s a privilege to be able to make a difference in their lives, even if it’s just for a moment. We are incredibly grateful for the support of our volunteers, sponsors, and partners, who make our mission possible.

“Bread of Hope has a proven track record of making a positive impact on communities worldwide. In addition to its annual Hope Tour, the foundation also provides educational scholarships and other support programs.” She added.

According to her, over 100 students have benefitted from the scholarship programme.The 2024 Hope Tour took place in Nigeria from September 8th to 18th, covering 10 states, which are Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Kogi, FCT, Nasarawa, and Benue.
